Our Background
With 40 years of professional practice in more than a dozen countries, we have accumulated a broad spectrum of ground water expertise from hundreds of projects within the solid waste, petroleum, petrochemical, and mining industries. For example, Ground Water Solutions, Ltd. has unique experience with Federal Subtitle D Regulations, having spent 18 years in the solid waste industry; we also have extensive experience with Subtitle C hazardous waste projects as well as National Priority List Superfund work.
John W. Oneacre
Mr. Oneacre is President of Ground Water Solutions, Ltd. (GWS) and provides hydrogeological consulting services to private industry with emphasis on environmental studies and litigation support work. Clients from a broad spectrum include the solid waste industry, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, insurance industry, waste-to-energy industry, and oil and gas industry. Mr. Oneacre has worked on several major environmental litigation cases for clients providing both technical litigation support and expert witness testimony. In addition, Mr. Oneacre's work at 200 landfills has resulted in invitations from several regulatory agencies to lecture on the topic of ground water impact from landfills and innovative ground water monitoring techniques. These agencies include USEPA Regions I and IX, and the States of Texas, Tennessee, Colorado, and Ohio. He is currently lecturing at NGWA and Shale Gas conferences across the country explain the use of environmental forensics and isotopic analysis methods to differentiate methane gas sources.
